Support Land Conservation in South Carolina

American Oystercatchers are some of the South Carolina birds most threatened by loss of habitat.

The most important tool we have in South Carolina for land conservation—to protect birds and the places they need to thrive—is a program called the Conservation Bank. Since 2002, the Conservation Bank has helped protect nearly 300,000 acres of forests, wetlands, historic sites, farms, and urban parks across the state.

Write to your state legislators to let them know you support the Conservation Bank to safeguard birds and the places they need in South Carolina.
